Students and Young Architects Summer Workshop 2016
DISCOVER – UNCOVER – RECOVER
The motive for the definition of the thematics of this year’s Summer Workshop, has been the highly significant fact of the appointment of the city of Pafos as the Cultural Capital of Europe for 2017, along with the city of Aarhus in Denmark.
Monodrama returns to Pafos
with performances carrying a Cypriot seal
With a total of nine performances by Cypriot artists who live and create in Cyprus as well as abroad, the Pafos2017 Organisation launches another important action, an ambitious project, which, upon its completion in 2017, will become an important institution for the cultural life of Cyprus.
The Cyprus Monodrama Platform will take place in the Old Powerhouse Hall in Pafos, from Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th of May. The event will, in fact, be a continuation, on a national level, of the positive feedback received by the Monodrama Showcase in September 2015 at the Pafos Odeon.
Nine performances – amongst which some premieres – with the curation of Minas Tigkilis are here to establish, as of this year, an institution of Monodrama performances by Cypriot creators at the Old Powerhouse.
