Another gastronomy programme of the European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017 has been crowned with great success, this time in collaboration with the European Capital of Culture Donostia – San Sebastian2016. Our chef Marios Efstathiou (Annabelle Hotel) represented Pafos in the “On Appétit!” programme and gave prominence to the rich gastronomic tradition of Cyprus, as he cooked for almost 300 people with few ingredients from Cyprus and with mainly fresh ingredients from the beautiful Basque country. The programme that aims at the exchange of ideas between Spanish and other European chefs started a few months ago and it will carry on until the end of 2016.
