Cypriot Actor and Director Marios Ioannou is looking for :
a Moroccan Actor/Performer (ideally living in Tangier) – [deadline extended until the end of June 2016]
a Spanish Actor/Performer (ideally living in Barcelona)
a Turkish Actor/Performer (ideally living in Istanbul) – [deadline extended until the end of June 2016]
to take part in a devised Theatre Project by the European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017.
The performance:
5 performers from 5 different Mediterranean Countries will be exchanging their unique stories about the Mediterranean Sea. The mythical force at the center of our shared history, our common source of life, which divides us but also unites us.
The selected performers will meet over the course of the next 18 months to share their different pasts and the dream they have of a common future.
Requirements:
The Director is looking for performers aged 25-50. English skills are required as a working language and for improvisations, which are held in both, English and the native language of the individual performers.
Reimbursement:
The selected performers will receive a salary including full board, accommodation and airfare from/to Cyprus for both, the rehersal and staging periods
Rehearsal Schedule:
The Rehearsals will take place in (Tangier / 1 week) and in August 2016 (Cyprus / 2 weeks). Final rehearsals directly preceding the performances will take place in August 2017 (Cyprus / 2 weeks).
Performances:
15-19 of August 2017 (Cyprus)
